1. Do I need to pre-register for classes?
Class space is reserved by prepayment of the class fee. Space is generally limited to 6 students and is available on a first come first served basis. It should be noted that classes will be cancelled if there are insufficient students to make a suitable class size. In the event of a cancellation, a full refund of prepaid fees will be available.
2. Do you give discounts on large quantities?
Our standard discounts are as follows:
If you buy 100 of the same bead you get 20% off the price of that item.
If you buy 1000 of the same bead you get 20% off +20% off that item.
If you buy 10 meters of cord you get 20% off that item.
We also give stamps on a Frequent buyer card. When your card is full you’ll receive $10.00 in free beads of your choice.
3. How do I shop in your store?
We have a tray system. You select your beads, place them in the tray and record the quantity and price on the tray list as you shop. Many of our beads are sold individually to allow you the greatest selection at the lowest cost. By recording your beads as you pick them, we are able to process your order at the cash register much faster.
4. Can I pick out beads and have the staff make my jewellery for me?
We are primarily a ‘make your own’ store. While our staff can help you by explaining how to finish your necklace, earrings, etc, or by making suggestions on style issues, they do not string it for you. A labour fee is charged for us to make it for you.
5. Do you repair broken jewellery?
We do repair broken jewellery. Our repair charge is $25.00 per hour for labour plus supplies. You will need to bring your piece in to get a labour quote as some pieces take longer than others to redo.
6. Do you take charge cards?
We are pleased to offer our customers the ability to pay for their purchases with Mastercard, Visa or Debit. Of course we also accept cash.
